I also work in academia as an Associate Professor at Alliant International University for the Clinical Psychology PhD program. I choose to work in academia because I love mentoring students and supporting them in becoming competent and caring professionals. I also choose to work in academia because I have a strong interest in research, and it allows me to collaborate with other faculty on several interesting research projects. My research interests include: mindfulness for children and families, art therapy techniques, play therapy, parenting, school-based therapy, trauma-informed care, parent-child relationships, sibling relationships, chronic pain, weight management and stigma, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and more!

If you are interested in inviting me to teach, guest lecture, or collaborate on research, please contact me! Also, please note, that if we are working together in a clinical setting, my private practice schedule does shift throughout the year based on my teaching schedule.
